At 1944 CFD was alerted to a fire alarm activation at 155 Ridgefield Drive. Crews from CFD AVFD and MFD were working on-scene a two-story residential fire when they were advised of the call. Marion Fire Ladder 1 responded and found nothing showing on arrival. After investigation it was discovered the fire alarm was activated due to a water pressure surge after units were shuttling water from a near-by hydrant. The occupants of the building were assisted back inside and the alarm was silenced. Sometime later CFD was advised that the alarm had reactivated and the occupants were evacuated again. Medic 259 responded to the scene. The alarm company was contacted and the alarm was silenced again. Units cleared the call at 2014.
